So I am going to show you some basic fishing tips that you should know before starting this amazing fishing journey.

Some basic fishing tips:

What do you need to carry?

Well, you already know you need some accessories for fishing. But you might not know everything about it. Carry these following pieces of equipment and all these types of equipment are available at any fishing tackle or sporting stores-

Fishing rod and reel: There are different types of rods and reels depending on the length, action and power. Choose the right rod according to your need. I would suggest you start with a medium power casting rod so that you can catch different kinds of fishes.

• Fishing line: Though you will have fishing lines with your new reel, you must carry some extras, to avoid any hindrance while fishing.

Hooks: you need to carry extra hooks with you. There are different types of hooks for different shapes of fish.

Bait: Live baits are best for fishing. You can buy them from bait stores or can collect them from your backyards.

Lures: Artificial baits are lures and there are numerous lures in the bait stores. Carry plenty of them and learn which lures should be used on which time.

Bobbers: Bobbers are floaters that help to keep the bait near the surface. While buying bobbers, try to buy smaller ones because they are more responsive/

Sinkers: Sinkers are needed to stabilize the line when the hook sinks deeper. Carry plenty of them as it’s normal to lose them.

Needle nose pliers: They are useful for taking the hooks from the fish.

First aid kit: It’s wise to keep a first aid kit when you are dealing with sharp things like hooks, line and fins.

Some tips to keep in mind:

Practice to knot: Knotting the hook in your fishing line is not an easy task, so practice it beforehand.

Study the spot: You should collect information about the environment and fishing information about the spot where you are going to fish. It will give you such tips to get an easier target.

Practice casting: There are different angles for casting. Gather knowledge about them and practice it.

Have patience: Patience is the key to success and while fishing you need to have enough patience. It is a skill and you can’t expect to be an expert overnight. Spend some time fishing, and you will automatically learn more tricks.

Conclusion: Fishing is an amazing hobby, once you find the pleasure out of it; you won’t be able to hold yourself from going to fish. All these tips and suggestions are enough for the beginners and remember that there are plenty of rules and tactics for fishing which you are going to learn eventually only if you continue doing it.
